Top 10 Reasons why I like Bali

Don’t miss out the beautiful Bali pics! Now is in my Instagram: jo_sephinetan

The season of Bali and Why BALI?
All because of Bali has been declared the world’s number one destination and most importantly Bali is our pre-wedding shooting’s destination.
Yeahh!!
This is my second time and is his first time to visit Bali and yay Bali always a good idea.
If you looked at the map of Bali, you will think that Bali is small, but actually Bali is so big, so you have to go back a second time or might be third to fourth time.

The TOP 10 Reasons why I like Bali
  • -       The Beaches
  • -       The Culture
  • -       The Colourful Arts Sense
  • -       The Cuisine
  • -       The People
  • -       The Weather
  • -       The Natural Riches
  • -       The Temples
  • -       The Accommodation
  • -       The Paradise for furniture and Homewares

Now let’s see how we discovered this amazing Indonesian island-
Bali in this sweet summer!

Where to stay?
Because of prewedding shooting with the photographer team, then we decided to stay together at the same hotel for the 1st – 2nd day.

But after the day of shooting, we moved to the North Kuta which is Seminyak area.
Due of our tight schedule, so I choose to stay in the most happening area of Bali for this time.
I think we all know that Bali has a lot of beautiful Villas and Balinese-style resorts.

So, we decide to book our hotel via Airbnb “Bali Mystique Hotel” and price is affordable.
Nice villas with large bathroom, staff is friendly, great location central to many bars and restaurants in Seminyak! Click the link and get more information from the website.

This is our accommodation for 2 nights, Love here!

Where to eat?
I must have to said that the Bali food is so good! Especially their local food like Babi Guling, Balinese Nasi Campur. Nasi Ayam Bakar and etc. (You will found out more delicious food when you are travelling to Bali, haha!)

Restaurant
  • -       Warung Babi Guling Chandra
  • -       Boni Bali (Gianyar)
  • -       Warung Tepi Tebing (famous food is bebek) (Gianyar)
  • -       Fat Gajah

Cafes
  • -       Kim Soo Home
  • -       Sea Circus
  • -       Motel Mexico
  • -       Café Organic
  • -       Strawberry Fields
  • -       Sisterfields
  • -       Revolver Espresso
  • -       Mad Pop Bali

Where to go?
  • -       Nusa Lembongan (a beautiful island)
  • -       Devil tears
  • -       Sanur Beach
  • -       Kintamani (Mount Batur)
  • -       Batuan Temple
  • -       Seminyak area (which is you can found a lot nice café, bars, restaraunt and shopping area)                I wanted to highlighted this Bali is not just synonymous with beautiful water villas and celebrity weddings, but also a paradise for furniture and homewares shoppers! There are so many unique/handmade/upscale boutiques you can find in Seminyak and Ubud, you will run the risk of bringing another luggage home! But too bad we have not so much time to hang around, if not I will bring all back to Malaysia! Haha! And now I’m still thinking about the unique stuff that I missed out at Bali!
  • -       Potato Head Beach Club
  • -       Double Six Beach
  •             -    Massage & Spa (is a MUST at Bali)
  • -       Lawak Coffee (not really remember which area we went, but actually they have a lot of lawak coffee’s place to visit, you can ask the local or driver)

The people will introduce the lawak coffee and how to make it to become a coffee powder. They will be provided 14 types of coffee to let you taste and it is free, but if you want to try lawak coffee, you have to paid for it. Besides that, they have the coffee for selling, if you are interest to buy it, you can bring it to home!

Just some suggestion, if you are the first time to visit Bali, you may visit MUST tourist place to visit. But I would have said, you can plan to visit Bali once a year, because each time you go to Bali, you will fall in love with the island again and again!

We then booked a car (which costs around 800k rupiah for whole day) for a road trip to Kintamani. Is about 3-4 hours to reach there (including lunch and visit time). But if you have 3-4 person to share this cost, this will be great!
Along the way to Kintamani, driver will have few stops to let us eat and visit some place.
So, you may discuss with the driver and ask him to suggest the best place to let you visit.

Last but not least, I hope you guys enjoyed my sharing and get some inspired to check out the placed we mentioned! Husband and me definitely will plan another trip to Bali again! And knock me if you want a driver contact. 😊

This is how we've discovered Bali in this sweet summer 🌋🌴🌊💏

Love, XOXO
